This is the little corner of our living room that I've been using as my studio for a while now. 2 days a week when Oki's at nursery I can spread out into the rest of the room, but it's not the same having to tidy it all up. I like to leave things out to look at, to keep my thoughts going, but that's just not going to happen with a curious little boy on the loose. I give him my pictures sometimes and they end up bent, scrunched up, doodled on, covered in stickers and I find them days later, covered in dust under the sofa with all his other toys.

My space

Great post. Such an important topic. Your space looks very organised & i can relate to the whole spreading out & packing up scenario. For a while now i have been using my 'art cupboard' where i pull all my materials out & work on our dining table, only to pack it all away before a certain cheeky toddler can go godzilla all over my stuff!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jenni! Happy to know I'm not alone :) I have to be extra organised and try to remember where things are these days, as every minute is precious and I don't want to spend ages looking for things...easier said than done on not enough sleep!
